BPSC TRE 4.0 Online Form: OTR, Fee, Photo and Signature Size, and What to Do if Payment Fails
Sarkari Naukri Khabar • Bihar
The fee for BPSC TRE 4.0 must be paid by 29 September 2026 and the form submitted by 30 September. This checklist, drawn from Advertisement 14/2026, covers the fee for each class group, the ₹200 biometric fee, the fresh OTR everyone must do on the new portal, the photo and signature sizes, choosing posts and districts, what to do if money is deducted but the form does not move, and the details that can never be changed after you submit.
The dates that matter
Payment opened on 1 September 2026 and closes on 29 September 2026. Online applications close on 30 September 2026. The fee deadline comes a day before the form deadline, so if you have not paid by the 29th you cannot apply on the 30th.
The advertisement says the Commission is not responsible for internet or banking disruption and tells candidates not to wait for the last dates. When we checked on 24 September, the application portal was not responding. If that happens to you, try again later, but do not leave it to the final day.
The fee
The examination fee is ₹100 for every candidate, under General Administration Department resolution 15568 dated 21 August 2025. If you apply for more than one class group (1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12), you pay a separate ₹100 for each group. Banks add their own charges on top.
There is also a biometric fee of ₹200, payable only by candidates who do not enter their Aadhaar number as their identity document. The advertisement asks for an Aadhaar-linked mobile number. At document verification after the result, the OTP goes to that mobile, and a candidate who cannot complete verification because of an OTP problem risks their eligibility.
OTR first, even if you registered before
One Time Registration on https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in is compulsory. Click New user Registration and use an active email address and mobile number. The email OTP may go to your spam folder.
- Candidates who registered on BPSC's old portal must complete OTR again on the new portal.
- Make only one OTR. More than one registration can get your application rejected or cancelled.
- The name, father's name, mother's name, gender, Aadhaar number and date of birth entered in OTR can never be changed. Check them against your matric certificate before you submit.
- After OTR the DigiLocker (Meri Pehchan) portal opens so you can link documents. If you do not want to use it, press the browser's Back button to continue.
Profile, photo and signatures
The profile has six steps: personal information, address, other information (any criminal case), qualification, experience, and photo and signature with profile lock.
- Photo: taken live through a webcam, not uploaded from a file.
- Signature: one in English and one in Hindi. Each must be at most 20 KB, 150 to 220 pixels wide and 250 to 320 pixels high.
- Before you apply, you can unlock the profile and correct it. Once you have paid for an advertisement, the profile stays locked until that application is finally submitted.
Paying and choosing posts
Go to the New Application tab and click Pay Fees. Accept the terms, choose your post, let the portal calculate the amount, and pay through the SBI gateway. After a successful payment, click Apply to open the form, then Proceed to Application, then Submit Application.
- After paying you cannot remove a post or subject, or add a new one. To change them you must cancel the payment and start again. Money for a cancelled payment or a cancelled application is not refunded.
- Choose districts carefully. You can opt for up to 38, and your result is published only for the districts you choose.
- You apply in one subject, the one in which you passed TET.
- For STET, enter your BSEB Unique ID in place of the result card number and the result date in place of the issue date. For CTET, enter the serial number and issue date printed on your certificate or marksheet.
If money is deducted but the form does not move
If you paid and the money left your account, but the portal shows a Check Payment Status button instead of Apply, click it. It checks the payment with the bank. If the payment succeeded, the Apply button appears and you continue. If it failed, the Pay Fee button appears and you pay again.
If you paid more than once, ask your bank for a chargeback of the extra payment. A payment you cancelled, or one for an application you cancelled, cannot be claimed back this way.
Paying is not applying. If you have paid but not finally submitted the form, your application is not complete and you are not a candidate.
After you submit
Go straight to My Account, click View under Action, and download and print two copies of the application. Check that the Application Number, Application ID and bar code appear on every page, because a copy without them is treated as incomplete.
Keep the email address and mobile number you used active until the final result, and keep four recent passport photos. You do not send a hard copy to BPSC. If you find an error after submitting, the advertisement says to cancel the application and fill it again, and the fee for the cancelled application is not refunded.
