Join your photo and signature
Some portals will not take a photograph and a signature separately; they want a single image with one above the other. This does that without Paint and without a cyber cafe.
Your image never leaves this device. It is read by your browser, resized on this page, and handed straight back to you. There is no upload and no server involved.
This browser is too old for this tool. Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone will work.

These are the sizes most forms ask for, offered as a starting point. Always use the numbers printed on the form you are filling in. They vary between departments.
Leave blank if your form does not state a limit.

Why do forms want one image?
Many portals give you a single upload box that has to contain both the photograph and the signature, usually one above the other. Separate files are simply not accepted, which is why people end up joining them in Paint or paying a cyber cafe to do it.
Will my signature get stretched?
No. Each picture keeps its own proportions and is only scaled to fit. That is not a small detail: at verification an officer compares your signature against the one you wrote on paper, and a signature squashed to fill a box no longer matches it.
What makes a good signature photo?
Sign on white paper in black or blue ink, and photograph it straight on in good light. Shadows and an angled shot are the usual reasons a signature comes out unclear. This tool keeps the background white, so a transparent PNG will not turn black.
Are my pictures uploaded anywhere?
No. Both files are read and combined inside your browser. There is no server, no account, and once the page has loaded it works with no internet connection at all.
What size and KB should I use?
Use the numbers printed on your own form. The sizes offered here are starting points only. They vary between departments. Enter the KB limit and the tool finds the quality that fits inside it.
