Two of the largest recruitments on this site close on 30 September 2026: BPSC TRE 4.0 with 32,388 school teacher posts and SSC CPO with 1,871. For TRE 4.0 the fee deadline is a day earlier than the form deadline, which is 29 September, today. Paying is not applying, and an application paid for but never finally submitted does not exist. This guide sets out what has to happen in the next 24 hours, in the order it has to happen.
The two deadlines, and why they are different days
BPSC TRE 4.0, Advertisement 14/2026: the fee had to be paid by 29 September 2026 and the online form has to be submitted by 30 September 2026. The fee window closes first. If you have not paid by the end of today, you cannot apply tomorrow.
SSC CPO 2026 runs the other way round: the form closes on 30 September 2026 and the fee can be paid until 1 October 2026. Do not carry the habit from one to the other.
Paying is not applying
This is the single failure that costs people the whole recruitment. The BPSC advertisement states it plainly: if you have paid but have not submitted the final application form, your application is not complete and your candidature is not valid for the advertisement.
After a successful payment you must go back to the New Application tab, click Apply, then Proceed to Application, then Submit Application. Three clicks after the money leaves your account, and without them the money is gone and the application does not exist.
If money left your account and the form will not move
If the portal shows a Check Payment Status button where Apply should be, click it. It asks your bank whether the payment went through. If it did, the Apply button appears and you carry on. If it did not, the Pay Fee button appears and you pay again.
If you have paid twice, ask your bank for a chargeback on the extra payment. A payment you cancelled yourself, or one attached to an application you cancelled, cannot be reclaimed that way.
What you cannot change after you pay
Once the fee is paid for TRE 4.0, the post and the subject are fixed. You cannot drop one or add another. Changing them means cancelling the payment and starting the whole process again, and a cancelled payment is not refunded.
The same is true of the profile. After payment it stays locked until that application is finally submitted.

Do not wait for the last hour
The advertisement says the Commission is not responsible for internet or banking disruption and tells candidates not to leave it to the final dates. That is not boilerplate on 29 and 30 September: a payment gateway under the load of a 32,388-post recruitment on its closing day is exactly when a transaction fails.
When this site checked on 24 September, the BPSC application portal was returning a server error. It may be busier now, not less busy.
Before you close the tab
Go to My Account, click View under Action, and download the completed application. Print two copies. Check that the Application Number, Application ID and bar code appear on every page, because a copy without them is treated as incomplete.
Keep the email address and mobile number you entered working until the final result. Everything about this recruitment is published on the Commission website, and you are expected to check it yourself.
