The Gujarat Public Service Commission has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (S.O.P) for the counselling stage of 17 recruitment advertisements held on behalf of various Municipal Corporations, advertisement numbers 117/2025-26 to 129/2025-26 and 135/2025-26 to 138/2025-26. The notice restates clause 5, sub-clause 10 of each detailed advertisement: after the personal interview a provisional merit list is published, and on a merit-cum-preference basis the selected candidates must state which Municipal Corporation they choose. The Commission will run that choice as a counselling process. The notice is dated 24 July 2026, issued from Gandhinagar over the signature of the Deputy Secretary.
