CSBC advertised three constable cadres under a single advertisement: Prohibition Constable in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department, Jail Warder in the Home (Prisons) Department, and Mobile Squad Constable in the Transport Department. Applications ran from 6 October to 5 November 2025. CSBC publishes the post-wise vacancies as 1,697 Prohibition Constable, 2,431 Jail Warder and 108 Mobile Squad Constable, which is 4,236 in all; the advertisement originally carried 4,128 and was revised upward twice by addendum. The written examination has been held, and the results shortlisting candidates for the physical tests were published on 18 August 2026.
