The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has published Advertisement No. 04/2026 (notice no. 1990 dated 8 September 2026) for 1,936 vacant posts of Assistant Professor in the state's aided co-education degree colleges and women's colleges. One Time Registration (OTR) has been made mandatory, and candidates must complete OTR before applying. Online registration and applications opened on 8 September 2026; the last date to pay the online application fee is 7 October 2026, the last date for corrections is 11 October 2026, and the examination is scheduled for 19 and 20 November 2026. Qualification, age limit and fee are set out in the detailed advertisement on the UPESSC website, and the Commission says it gives no separate advice on eligibility.
